At By Home Chef, customer satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please review the policy below to understand how returns and refunds work.

Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • The item must be in its original packaging
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be provided

Items that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a refund.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

  • Used or damaged items caused by misuse
  • Products not in their original condition or packaging
  • Items returned after the 30-day return window

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

To process your request quickly, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the item
  • Photos of the packaging (if applicable)

Our support team will review the case and arrange a replacement or refund if approved.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.
If you need to exchange an item, please contact our support team.

Return Shipping

Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs, unless the product arrived damaged or incorrect.

Shipping fees paid during checkout are non-refundable.

Order Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company — it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
  3. Contact your bank, as processing times can vary
